I would like to know if NMS is deployed to manage the CMTS, and Cable Modem. However CMTS IpAddress will be accessible by NMS, and the Cable Modem details which be fetched from the respective CMTS. However does NMS can access the IpAddress of Cable Modem which it might get from CMTS.
The purpose is to manage the Cable modem via its IpAddress, like checking the status, configuring the services, rebooting and upgrading the firmware etc ..

Yes it's possible but like for your CMTS you have to validate or configure routing and any access-list/firewall for your NMS to access to your modems.
Also for any services in your private network you have to authorize access through config files.
