Spoke to them over Skype chat. Very knowledgable and helpful. Had a 1 hour chat with them in English. They sent me data and user manuals etc etc.
Only problem was they are not FCC certified so its a no go for the USA.
Costs are great. I realy wish they were FCC compliant. I would have bought them for my lab.
Hey,
If you can send me one to test out, I'll talk to the boss about deploying them is our systems. We have SMATVs all over Michigan. We're looking for a new CMTS that supports DOCSIS 1.1. The Arris CMTS 1500s are getting hard to find. :)
Let me know,
Eric

Hey,
any new information about this china cmts? I'd like to try one, but i would like to get some information from people who did install this cmts in
eurodocsis 1.1 network.
hello, if you want know more info about our CMTS,pls contact me at jinghong0523@gmail.com
Did they give you an idea of how many of their CMTSs are already deployed?
If they aren't FCC approved for the US market, where are they presently
serving: exclusively ASIA-PAC?
But was told that they have deployments in asia/pac, central and south america and carribean.
They sell 1 down 4 up CMTS's for about $8K USD.
pls contact the CMTS supplier for more details
the CMTS is not as expensive as USD8K now.just contact for more details.
Hi,
does anyone in the forum have experience with their product they wish to share?
I am looking at various CMTS products at the moment and will probably engage this company as well.

hello, are you interested in our CMTS?Pls leave your contact info to me.

I'm testing their CMTS right now. Some inconveniences I've noticed:
1. Couldn't find the possibility to configure shared secret. CMTS accepts cable modems with config files obtained from non-authorized provisioning server.
2. On the cable interface it is only possible to configure one network for cable modems and one network for CPEs.
3. Cable modems get online slowly. I've been testing their CMTS in a passive network. It takes ages for a cable modem to find a downstream and calibrate.
4. Couldn't get it answer SNMP requests. Not sure what SNMP version they have implemented (tried 1 and 2).
What I liked about their CMTS is you have root access to it. So if you are good enough at QNX ( I'm not :-) ), you could tweak the CMTS software.
This is a nice post.....Thanks a lot for sharing.
