I am using DOCSIS 1.0. .Since downstream modulation is 256QAM.
This way I can get Max 37 mbps throughput.Now i have added new downstream card with New downstream frequency (different from previous one).Now can i multiplex both the downstream and feed to single transmitter?
Multiplexing downstream is a feature of D3. Now you can load balance between 2 downstreams. There are 2 ways to do that. 1) either create 2 config files that have a downstream frequency set or 2) use dynamic channel change.
Can you please help how to create 2 config files that have two D/S frequency sets
How do you make your modem config files now? Do you use the cmts or have a tftp server?
We are using CMTS with MC28U cards
So you use the cmts itself for the modem config?
