I'm attempting to upgrade some SBG901's on my network, and am using the following config file stanzas to start the upgrade.
I extracted the .cer file from the p7 file, and then used hexdump to convert to strings that I could include. The config file segment compiles correctly in the system, but when the modem receives the MfgCVCData it reports " Configuration File CVC Validation Failure " in the log file.
Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.
Paul

Our provisioning has updated firmware on our SBG901 modems to be that of 2.11.0.0 - and I am now seeing customers losing their wireless capability. i.e. the ssid disappears, or the wifi stops working. Is this a known problem with this firmware, and if so, where can I get a copy of 2.12.1.0 or a different interim release...?
all available firmware for motorola model modems can be found at https://digitalcm.motorola.com it does require a login.
Thanks. I'm there, waiting for them to reactivate my account (been dormant for a while).
