I have a couple Cisco ubr7246vxr's with the MC28U card. Cable modems are not registering, I am using Arris TM822G modems. Nothing in the logs of the CMTS that they are even trying to register. Relative config below:

In which state do the modems stuck? If you are not sure about the answer, please provide some lines from the output of "show cable modem" command, where we can see the status of the cable modems (I am interested in the lines where the status is not online)
1. You said TM822 is not registering. Do you have any other modems that do work? (TIP: if all your modems are DOCSIS 2.0 or newer, then you can ditch the "docsis-mode tdma-atdma", and just run the more efficient "docsis-mode atdma"
2. What lights are you seeing on your test modem?
3. How is your plant wired? Based on your config, your appear to have 8 distinct service areas, with 1 DS and 1 US in each... Correct?
4. Your DS freq looks strange. I would normally expect it to be a value from the QAM Carrier list here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_cable_television_frequencies
eg 375000000 or 381000000
At a guess, if you set the CMTS to some non-standard frequency, that DS might not be visible when the modems are doing their DS channel scanning
5. Are you confident your attenuation is correct? Use a field meter to have a look at the levels. Or worst case connect a laptop to the LAN port of your modem and then go to the http://192.168.100.1 page and have a look at what it says. Can it see a DS? If so, what level is it hitting at?
6. I see you have set "power-level 8". This can be useful in some limited circumstances (eg wireless DOCSIS), but in majority of cases I would recommend leaving this set to the default value of 0.
We fixed this. The upstream was coming in too hot. We just attenuated the upstreams.
