Cisco Network Registrar Client MAC issues

I am in the process of upgrading to Cisco Network Registrar (CNR) 6.3 from CNR 6.0.

I am having an issue with the client name field. When I enter the name as the modem MAC address in CNR 6.3 as I did on CNR 6.0 the server doesn't recognize the client and no options are sent to the cable modem.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you provide a bit more info?

Are you are trying to use option 12 in a policy?

Are you trying to use @use-macaddress ?
