Thought I wold share what I discovered this weekend.
If you have your plant maps in Autocad (i.e. dwg Files) Autodesk, the makers of Autocad have come out with a new tool. It is called http://www.autocadws.com
It allows you to place your DWG files over the top of a google map and allows access from a simple web browser (flash) Iphone, or android phone. It even allows editing of the DWG file in the program. Even Read-Only files can still be annotated.
Definitely, way cool in theory it would allow technicians to carry around the plant maps for your whole system in their pocket.

The tool is free, however it can only view/edit files not create them, you still need the full version of Autocad to do that.
Great way to occupy all the spare time we have, huh? ;-)
