we had the MC20X20V in our lab for two weeks. We used them with the PRE2. The upstream bonding works well. A show cable modem look likes:
show cable modem
D
MAC Address IP Address I/F MAC Prim RxPwr Timing Num I
State Sid (dBmv) Offset CPE P
001e.6971.xxxx 10.xx.xx.xx C5/0/2/U1 online(pt) 43 15.50 682 1 N
0023.bef8.xxxx 10.xx.xx.xx C6/0/0/UB w-online(pt) 166 15.00 649 0 N
0019.5e39.xxxx 10.xx.xx.xx C6/0/0/U0 online(pt) 167 14.50 292 0 N
C6/0/0/UB
In future the PRE4 makes definitely sence, to use the SIP-600 together with 1x10GE SPA to put the traffic away ;)
Hopefully next week we received the first shipment which we didn't must give back to Cisco.
Maybe the bad news: The output power level in quad-qam operation is strictly based on the DRFI-Specification. This means no higher power-level as 52dBmV (realy no 0,5dB higher) is possible.
Not yet in live environment,
