All I've found so far is it's Orange. What the heck is it and why would I want to pay the expense for one? I've been searching for hours and can't find any literature on these type of modems. Would having one be a useful tool for the tool-box? If so, how do you make use of it?
They are good to have, console port in the back allows you capture everything to help trouble shoot registration problems and plant problems. you can set it up for a constant carrier with set channel width and modulation.
example, had a tech in the UK with a node issue and he was able to resolve the problem with the diag modem. it's just another tool when it comes down to it.

Would you be able to help with finding a manual? I'm thinking of getting the motorola sb5120 diag modem, the supplier doesn't know much about the unit.
I'm sure I can find it, just let me know your email address and I'll send it along
