modem restart - cable load-balance

Question:
when a modem is moved from one cable interface to another by the load balancing the modem always restarts, this must be the case or it is not normal

Please I hope collaboration with the answer

Thank you

no, yes

when you say from one interface to another, are they on the same mac domain?
can you give an example, it's a 2.0 modem and load balance has the modem go from 555Mhz to 567Mhz and it resets? = modem firmware needs to be upgraded.

Hello

Hello
This is the configuration that I am using
I create the balancing group and associates it with the cable interface 3/0 and 3/1
The modems pass from one interface to another but they restart when doing this.
Some configuration is missing so that the modem does not restart or this is normal to happen when a cable interface is passed 3/0 to 3/1

need to configure mac domain?

I'm attentive to the answer
