i have CASA 3200 i facing issues like getting hang of CMTS untill it restarts physically unable to get access remotely.
if any one faced such issue please help me to find the root cause & trouble shooting steeps.
how many customers are on the system? what's the average cpu? what do you have for an access-list?
from past experience, you need a filter to block ntp attacked. use wireshark to double check and see what you have for traffic and how often
Depending on the SW version, there is a bug that allows an attacker to set IP TTL to zero. Not sure if that is the case, but I suggest you to check your acccess-list (on the border router too) as mentioned by cmcaldas.
