Does anyone know where I can get an overview of the maximum rates supported by the different versions of DOCSIS? I found some info on wikipedia, but not in the specifications of CableLabs.
The Speeds can depend on your modulation profile and the type of modem used. This is a very open question since there are basic rates and them rates after protocol over head. Give us and idea of what version of DOCSIS you are asking about and what your upstream & Downstream QAM is. You could also add the type of modem you are using as the preamble length also can play a role in speed a modem can truly reach.
