I'm running a beta and unstable firmware version on a small cmts.
Someone have a stable version?
My version is: 4_3_0beta2_v536
Please post the firmware on a site like dropbox, or something like that. Or else send me at ztcodergmail.com
Thanks A LOTTTT!
Pico has an FTP site for all the firmware and manuals.
FTP: ftp://ftp.picodigital.com
Username: pdcmts
Password: P1c0CMT$
THANK YOU!!! :D
Not a problem. Let me know if you need anything. We are running one in production right now serving a couple hundred modems.
I was wondering if your PER is reporting correctly and if the Spectrum Analyzer function is working. We have one set up in our lab and It is reporting packet errors using a single SB6141 Modem directly to the CMTS via diplex filter and pads. Have tried different modems with the same result. Also, we can't see upstream modems firing on the CMTS. Hardware analyzer sees them just fine. Modems seem to be functioning fine, just have anomalies in PER reporting (different values depending on page checked) and no spectrum analyzer functionality.
I know that this is a really old thread, but does anyone happen to have a copy of the firmware from that site? It is long gone at this point, and I just recently got my hands on one of these miniCMTSes but cannot change the language to english to save my life. Hoping it was fixed in a newer firmware.
Scratch that, I reached out to ATX (who now owns Pico) and they provided the appropriate firmware. I now can see the interface in English!
Can you send me this firmware? info djsmiley com
That would be awesome, i have one at a remote site which is currently not accessible, but seems to work. I need to go onsite to see if I can get it back up and running, but want to upgrade the FW at the same time while on site
ATX has it here: https://releases.atx.com/index.php/s/HN5ojWH0fvToHXw
The password for the site is "atx" all lower case.
If your bootloader is not version 6, then you will need to do the bootloader upgrade first. ATX did say that there is a non-zero chance of the bootloader upgrade failing and bricking the unit, requiring it to be sent in for service.. so just be aware of that.
