Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error? I see DOCS-IF31-MIB is in my directory, but I have been chasing my tail on this one! I am just trying to do the snmpget based on the name rather than the OID:

Hi, sorry for not answer your question but I've to ask. Do you have 3.1 HW already available?
usually means you are missing a dependent MIB, or it is trying to replace an exisiting oid
try isolating the mibs, and their dependencies in question in a folder and pass the -M /path/to/directory flags to the snmp command you are running
