I have an Arris EMTA TM602A and would like to work only as a cable modem. get him to stay online by adding the option 122 in dhcp configuration files speed, but the light is flashing the phone looking mta enabled. how do I disable the mta?

I just got the cable modem mta stay online when I put this option in the configuration file. without this option it finds the channel downstream and upstream but not recorded in cmts.
Try setting option 122 to 0.0.0.0

You can add this OID to the SNMP options of the config file: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7.16:2 (Integer), this way the CM won't try to give the MTA an IP address.
