Cisco uBR IPv6 and Netflow

Greetings everyone, I'm running 12.2(33) SCG3 on our 7200s and SCG6 on our 10k CMTSs. I know Netflow is not supported with IPv6 on this IOS train. I glanced at the release notes up until SCJ and didn't see any Netflow support for IPv6.

Does anyone know if and when IPv6 Netflow support will be added to IOS?

Thanks,
Matt

We were told by Cisco it will

We were told by Cisco it will never be added, and that if we wanted IPv6 netflow we would have to move to cBR8

Ridiculous !

You do have the option of using IPDR on the 10k instead, but it isn't really equivalent. For example if you wanted to unmeter a particular set of servers, this is easily achievable with netflow, but with IPDR you would have to create a distinct service flow.

Wow

Wow, that is unfortunate. I am about to enable IPv6 but want a way to see how much v6 traffic there will be. I guess I'll use a separate Gigabit(or VLAN) interface and Cacti. Still not as good as having Netflow data though.

Thanks for the help!
