Upstream 3.0 and 3.1 frequencies

Will it be possible to run Docsis 3.0 and 3.1 Upstreams on the same frequencies?
If it's the same CMTS and the same linecard, the system should be able to manage those D30 and D31 CM.
Based on the timing synchronization should it be possible, would I say.
What do you think?

TaFDM

Yes it should work if the CMTS is supporting TaFDM for ATDMA with SC-QAM and OFDMA upstream bursts. TaFDM is the acronym for Time and Frequency Devision Multiplex. It's possible that some vendors won't support TaFDM in the first place and then you need to use different frequencies.

So the best would be for you to request TaFDM from your vendor.
